Our Story
July 18th, 2007...
Our first baby was born. We were extremely happy and excited. Our son was a bundle of joy. His first two months were wonderful. He was happy and healthy. Soon after, he started to show signs of skin disorder. It started with dry flakes on his head - cradle cap. Dermatologist gave us some medication and told us it would go away soon. It didn't. After a few weeks, we noticed rashes on his face and body. He began to itch incessantly. He was diagnosed with severe Atopic Dermatitis caused by food allergies. Upon blood testing, we learned he was allergic to EVERYTHING. No food was safe. Only a few months old, he could only drink special baby formula and could not eat anything. He even had allergic reactions to smells of food.
Our battle with eczema began! We were desperate and tried all sorts of medications, creams/lotions, clothes and baby formulas. We took him to countless dermatologists and allergists - hoping and praying that we could find something to give him some relief.
In a very short period of time, we educated ourselves about eczema. We created this website for anyone suffering from eczema.. As parents, we understand how stressful it is to have a baby who needs special care with food, clothes, toys and creams/lotions, etc.
Fortunately, there are products that can help. Although there is no cure for eczema, child eczema is (for the most part) not permanent. Time is on our side. As the child gets older, the symptoms of eczema diminish. Here is our son at 2 years old.
We are dedicated to only marketing products that are known to help eczema sufferers. We have also set up Articles section to inform parents and eczema sufferers on what they can do to obtain some relief. The Forum section is for sufferers to ask questions and receive answers for their own unique situation from other sufferers. We are constantly working hard to bring you as much as information as possible to help you with your battle against eczema. Although the battle seems hard, it can be won. Here is a happy face to prove it!
